The Origin of the

Hero

Bangkok and New York share the same heartbeat; they both run on heat, noise, and hustle. But while the flavors of Thailand are a slow-moving symphony of a dozen dishes, New York doesn't wait for the orchestra to finish.

We saw a collision coming. We saw the busy professionals, the commuters, and the "Sa-Mees" of the world trying to find real, honest food that fit into a 15-minute gap. So we stripped the classics down to their essentials and reimagined them for the street.

We took the high-fidelity flavors of the night market, the slow-marinated proteins and the punchy, house-made sauces and packed them into the iconic architecture of a New York Hero. We created a sandwich that respects the heritage of the bun and the soul of the spice.

Sammie.

The Original Thai Hero.

In Thailand, Sa-Mee means husband. In Manhattan, it translates to a man with a Bangkok appetite and a fifteen-minute gap between meetings.
